The Sims 2 Official Trailer
The Sims 2 is a strategic life simulation computer game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the sequel to the best-selling computer game, The Sims, which debuted on December 14, 2000. It was released on September 17, 2004; becoming an instant success, having sold a then-record one million copies in its first ten days. Along with the core game, Electronic Arts has released six expansion packs and seven stuff packs. Mark Mothersbaugh composed the music for the game. The Sims 2 generally follows the same concept as The Sims. The players control their Sims, as they interact with their virtual surroundings, engaging in various different activities and forming relationships in a manner similar to real life. Like its predecessor, The Sims 2 does not have a defined final goal; gameplay is open-ended. They do, however, have life goals, wants and fears, the fulfillment of which can have good or bad effects. There is also a wide-range of cheats to be used. All Sims age, and generally live up to sixty five Sim days, if the controller treats their Sim well. The Sims 2 builds on its predecessor by allowing Sims, the simulated human characters, to age through six stages of life and incorporating a more powerful 3D graphics engine. As of July 2007, the base game has sold more than 13 million units worldwide, making it the 2nd best selling PC game of all time, only behind the original The Sims. A sequel, The Sims 3, was announced in November 2006 by EA to be released sometime in 2008.

Tennis For Two - The second ever computer game
*** BACKGROUND MUSIC INFO IS BELOW! *** PLEASE READ THE COPYRIGHT INFORMATION BELOW *** Way back in 1958, William Higinbotham invented Tennis For Two to liven up visitor day at Brookhaven National Laboratory, his workplace. The game uses an oscilloscope with two control pads. It remained largely unknown until 1981 when a lawyer trying to break Magnavox's patent for video games came across writings talking about the game. Blueprints of it were found to predate Magnavox's game, the case was settled out of court, and the game found fame as the second ever invented, since it was later predated by A.S. Douglas' 'OXO' game from 1952. The video is sourced from Brookhaven National Laboratory, a governmental institution, and as such, the video is in public domain. Peacespeakers' music is released under a Creative Commons license. You can see a video of theirs here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YaBkugRBmQ *** Whilst the components of this video are free, this video itself is not. You should not re-upload this video verbatim anywhere, especially with no attribution. Whilst I've had many people do this, a few have been kind enough to message and ask to display the video somewhere off YouTube, which in most cases is fine. All I ask is that you ask *** Edit: I've been asked quite a few times what music this is. It's 'To Find Our Freedom' by Peacespeakers, from the album 'Message From Planet Earth'. Their web page can also be found here: http://www.sojusrecords.com/artists/peacespeakers.html

Déplacements, a material "Game of life"
www.decept.org/nolife/ "Déplacements" consists of 24 computer case fans forming a rectangle. Each fans is "pixel", its number of revolutions and the intensity of the light of its LED varies according to the level of gray corresponding to the pixel of reference. This screen of fans is controlled by a computer simulating a cellular automata entitled "The game of life" (created by John Horton Conway in 1970). It is a mathematical model where each fans is a cell. "Displacement" is a hijack of this object, a component of the computer becoming image. It is not a question of a physical "displacement" but of a movement, a flow.

3d Monster Maze on the Sinclair Timex ZX81
3d Monster Maze on the Sinclair Timex ZX81 A quick round of the 1982 Sinclair Timex ZX81 game of the same name. Hugely nostalgic - this was definitely the first computer game that ever scared me, and probably the first one I was addicted to. Although games now routinely have 3d graphics, 3d Monster Maze was regarded as being nothing short of amazing when it came out. The ZX81 plugged into the aerial socket of a standard TV set. It could display black, white, and grey. The graphical resolution of the actual gameplay area was in effect 50x48 pixels, or 0.002 megapixels. The ZX81's 3.5MHz (0.0035GHz) Zilog Z80 CPU could run the game at about 6 frames per second, and the controls were via the arrow keys on the ZX81 keyboard. Ah, halcyon days. Sim Ant - Gameplay
Yeaaah, this is me playing good old Sim Ant (1991) from Maxis. Im playing a quick game, collect food for the queen, get a bunch of black ants together and finish off the fucking spider. That goddamn spider, back when i was small i had nightmares because of that thing. Its really a scary enemy, its so fast and ugly and thoses noises, yuck. Atleast i kicked his ass with my ant buddies. I thought i was running out of time when i recorded the video so i didnt do a final attack on the red ant queen. You can also see some ways of death in this video. What you didn´t see is that you can also die by a lawnmower, in the house you can die by electricity and probably more.

The Game Of Life - TI-99/4A
John Conway is a British mathematician who invented the simple set of rules for determining patterns on a board that became known as the Game of Life. Despite the name, it is not a game, merely a simulation. In the 'game' one places cells on a grid and, using a very simple set of rules, starting at the top left of the grid and working right and down, determines if the cell in question lives or dies. In the early days, this was done using boards and counters, like draughts (checkers) by hand! Of course, it was a prime candidate for computers and over the years many Life simulations have appeared on many machines, from mainframes to mini's to Vic 20's to Windows Screen Savers! This is my version, written in assembler (TMS9900) for the Texas Instruments TI-99/4A Home Computer - the machine I grew up with as a child (had one in 1983 at the age of twelve). It process the standard rules of Life (there have been quite a few variations over the years), and features an editor too. Using the editor, you can move the cursor around the 'universe' and drop cells where you like, and then animate them and watch life unfold before your eyes. Some shapes/patterns produce beatiful geometric shapes over the course of the a few 'generations' before stabilising or dying out - some of these can be seen in the demo. The program is about 8K in size, but in truth the editor and engine only take up about 4K, the majority of the footprint is taken up with the long scrolly message! (ahem). The program was written while I was working on site in Turkey. As I was ferried by my driver everyday between pipelines and block valve sites I would be writing assembly language! I developed it with Notepad, and assembled it with ASM994A by Cory Burr. The emulator I used was Win994A, again by Cory Burr. If anyone wants the source code, drop me a line. I also have a version of the source code that will assemble with TI's Editor Assembler. Also, this program is available for download on the wonder TI Gameshelf web site (www.tigameshelf.net), in the Edutainment section. Hope you retro computing folks like it!

Blood PC game intro, last level, final boss fight and ending
Played on DOSBox-0.70 This game was so awesome for many reasons. First, it had an amazing choice of weapons including the voodoo doll and 3 types of TNT. Good graphics for its time and a scary assortment of music. Good levels including a carnival full of surprises. Great enemies including the hand that grabbed your face. Kicking the heads of your enemies after you killed them made it all the more fun. The story is unique, because we are told Caleb is not our typical hero, but he's a hired gun-slinger, who fell in love with a woman, joined a dark cult, Cabal. But, he's betrayed and killed by the god of the cult, Tchernobog. So, he comes back rising from the grave with the infamous words by Bruce Campbell from Army of Darkness "I live.. again" to take revenge and eliminate all the members of the cult.

Maybe as it is not a FPS, but a MOBA.

For example in Pubg, the gameplay is sort of slow in comparison to its two concurrents, therefore if the looting process is adaptive he needs to be also slow to be prosperous. A game like PUBG ought to be handled with care. With esports like League of Legends, you will not ever miss an essential play by your favourite player. For competitive play its important to draw players in with more than simply bragging rights. Therefore, merely a mid-range smartphone that players may have the game perfectly. Finding matches Its so simple to obtain a match. What a very good match resembles A fantastic match is dependent on your definition of good. Losing a match in the very first couple minutes isnt so bad once youre in a position to rapidly hop into another. Ultimately, both teams can be happy with the trade. My team and I can truly feel the growth to initiate a new battle immediately. You will end up dying frequently early on, but nevertheless, it is sometimes a rewarding and entertaining experience when the curve is overcome. Being one is a rather strange experience. You quit running and attempt to catch some breath. Breath of the Wilds wide-open concept provides the player a true sense of embarking on their very own adventure. There are several mixed feeling on the idea due to numerous bugs and problems in the game itself. You might encounter trouble early on and need to hunker down, or so the game becomes a rescue mission. Over all it is nothing but a lousy situation for those developers, players, and viewers. Yes, it is an ideal evolution for the collection.
