BEST Proof We Have For Life on Other Planets
Ever since we first begun to imagine that life could exist on worlds Bonus Video @Patreon http://www.patreon.com/strangemysteries Narration provided by JaM Advertising New Mexico www.tasteofjam.com other than our own, the Red Planet has been mankind's number one suspect. And in recent years we've also come to believe that life may also exist somewhere on the moons of Saturn and Jupiter too. So what evidence for this have we actually discovered? In 2013 the Curiosity rover detected many of the key chemical ingredients for life in the Martian soil.In 2014 the British microbiologist Professor Milton Wainwright claimed to have discovered evidence of life in Earth's stratosphere, and he says this organism could not have come from our planet.Take a look at this neat little guy. This is a methane ice worm discovered in Mexico back in 1997. As its name suggests, this organism lives inside methane ice which has been pushed up from the sea floor.

What are the odds of life on planets orbiting nearby stars? Scientists, wielding sensitive new telescopes and "big data" tools, have detected planets around thousands of stars; some Sun-like and some very different from our star. Many newly discovered "exoplanets" lie in "habitable zones," where liquid water may support the chemistry that enables biology. What are the odds there is life in outer space - Richard Dawkins asks Neil Degrasse tyson
Richard Dawkins asks Neil deGrasse about what are his thoughts on the probability of life existing elsewhere in the universe. Neil is very positive about having life as the basic ingredients for having life are in abundance in the universe, as we are mostly made up of carbon. Are we Alone? - Finding Life Beyond Earth [Full Documentary] - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiMszaiUVFY Brief Background - Ever since humans acknowledged the enormity of the universe, we have intuited that life must exist somewhere, either in our galaxy or some galaxy far, far away. If the universe contains billions of galaxies, and if each galaxy contains billions of stars, and if a fraction of those stars have Earth-like planets, then hundreds -- maybe even thousands -- of alien civilizations must exist across the cosmos. Right? For a while, science contented itself with the logic alone. Then, in 1995, astronomers located the first planets outside our solar system. Since then, they've detected nearly 300 of these extra-solar planets. Although most are large, hot planets similar to Jupiter (which is why they're easier to find), smaller, Earth-like planets are beginning to reveal themselves. In June 2008, European astronomers found three planets, all a little larger than Earth, orbiting a star 42 light-years away. 5 "Impossible" Things That Can Happen On Other Planets
A lot of things happen on Earth, but there are still some things that just don't ever happen here. But, that doesn't mean that what's impossible here is impossible everywhere else in the universe. Whether it's clouds that rain rocks or glass, wind that's 29 times faster than sound, having 2 shadows or even being able to fly in some places, this is a collection of some of the most ridiculous places that we know of so far in our strange universe. Alien Planets - New Documentary
Alien Planets - New Documentary Five rocky alien worlds that are 80 percent as old as the universe itself have been discovered, suggesting that Earth-size planets have been a feature of the Milky Way galaxy almost since its beginning. The newfound exoplanets circle Kepler-444, an 11.2-billion-year-old star about 25 percent smaller than the sun that lies 117 light-years from Earth. All of the worlds are Venus-size or smaller and are therefore rocky, though scientists know nothing else about their composition. All five alien planets complete an orbit in less than 10 days, meaning they're almost certainly too hot to support life as we know it. But Kepler-444 hints at the existence of other ancient planetary systems that may be more hospitable, researchers said.

10 STRONGEST Signs of Aliens and Alien Life
Are we alone? It’s a question that many hope to have answered, and some believe they already have the answer to. Some scientists maintain that we will find alien life in the next thirty years, if not sooner. The Wow Signal In 1977 Ohio State University picked up a strange signal from their Big Ear Telescope an observatory that scanned the sky for alien radio signals. On August 15, , The telescope picked up a radio signal that measured as ‘6EQUJ5’ from an area of empty space and astronomer, Dr. Jerry R. Ehman wrote the simple phrase,‘Wow’. The black knight The black knight is a mysterious, unidentified satellite that was detected way back in 1899 by the brilliant Serbian inventor, Nikola Tesla, who some think intercepted signals from the unknown satellite. There are Thousands of Exoplanets In 2009 NASA launched the Kepler satellite observatory to look out into the farthest reaches of space. As Kepler scans the void, it has discovered and is still discovering, a staggering amount of exoplanets that may be habitable. In other words, our galaxy alone is full of planets within the important habitable zone, where alien life is likely to thrive. Credit: http://fur.ly/0/thousandsofexoplanets ➢ 1. Will Alien Life Resemble Life on Earth? Harvard Biologist Jonathan Losos Explains
Is there life on other planets? Harvard biologist Jonathan B. Losos has an interesting theory that since there are so many Earth-type planets in our galaxy alone that there's a good chance that there's some humanoid looking (at least in the bipedal sense) creatures out there, too. Just like a Hollywood movie. Read more at BigThink.com: http://bigthink.com/videos/jonathan-losos-what-might-life-on-other-planets-look-like-a-harvard-biologist-explains Follow Big Think here: YouTube: http://goo.gl/CPTsV5 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BigThinkdotcom Twitter: https://twitter.com/bigthink Jonathan B. Losos: So this question about the inevitability of evolution, the extent to which the outcomes we see in the world today were destined to occur, has a number of implications. I mean just most generally it tells us whether how fated evolution was to occur, how the outcome today was destined in a way. But it has other implications as well that people have long speculated about, and that is: what would life be like on other planets if it is evolved? Would it be like the world today here on Earth or would it be completely different? And this question has taken on some increased urgency or at least interest in recent years because we now realize that there are many planets out there that are like Earth. We used to think that Earth was perhaps unique and so perhaps life as we know it is unique, because we’re the only place that it could evolve. But quite the contrary we’ve now discovered that there are lots of what are called “habitable exoplanets”, Some people estimate millions, even billions just in our own Milky Way galaxy. So if that’s the case, if there are that many Earth-like planets – and by Earth-like I mean about the same size, temperature, atmosphere somewhat similar, running water – roughly similar conditions. If there are really that many Earth-like planets many people think that it’s very likely that life has evolved on them. And so the question is what will that life look like? Well there are those who argue that from the argument of convergent evolution they argue that species facing the same conditions here on Earth evolved the same solutions by natural selection. They extrapolate to say if conditions on other planets are similar to here then we would see very similar lifeforms, that you arrive on whatever planet you’ll see animal and plant-like organisms that look very familiar. Some people have gone so far as to say that, in fact, human type organisms, humanoids will occur on other planets. So there will be intelligent beings that if we saw them they would be recognizable which, of course, is what Hollywood tells us. If you watch almost any science fiction TV show or movie the intelligent lifeform is bipedal, a couple of arms, a mouth. Maybe they only have three fingers and pointy ears and they’re green, but they’re pretty humanoid. And so some people say yes, that’s actually very likely that humans are a very successful lifeform here on Earth that we are extremely well adapted to our environment which ancestrally was occurring on the plains of Africa. But we have adapted so exquisitely that we now dominate the world. And so if this is such a good adaptation here on Earth it would similarly be a good adaptation on another planet and evolution would be likely to take the similar course. That is the argument that is being made in some quarters.

Its star is just 4% larger, a billion and a half years older, and 20% brighter than the sun, meaning 452b is firmly in the “goldilocks” habitable zone that puts the odds of it being rocky, like Earth, between 50-62%. Kepler-452b orbits its star in 385 days, just 20 days longer than our own year. Its star is just 4% larger, a billion and a half years older, and 20% brighter than the sun, meaning 452b is firmly in the “goldilocks” habitable zone that puts the odds of it being rocky, like Earth, between 50-62%. Scientist Jeff Coughlin says “this is the first possibly rocky, habitable planet around a solar-type star.” All 11 previously discovered exoplanets of similar size and orbit circle smaller, cooler stars. The planet was found by the Kepler telescope, which searches for possible Earth-twins by observing periodic dips in the brightness of stars as planets pass before them, like the way our moon causes an eclipse here on Earth. The Kepler telescope stared at a single patch of the Milky Way for four years before its pointing system failed in 2013, but the mission still succeeded in cataloguing more than 4,600 exoplanet candidates. This means astronomers still have huge amounts of data to sort through and make new findings, like this discovery. With 452b, just over 1,000 of the exoplanet candidates have now been confirmed. 20 years ago this fall, the first exoplanet orbiting a distant star was discovered. And with the successor to Kepler launching in 2017, the pace of discovery is about to increase substantially. The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (or TESS), will be able to cover hundreds of times as much sky as the Kepler mission, and will identify prime targets for further examination by the successor to Hubble, the James Webb Space Telescope, set for an October 2018 launch. Astronomers can now project with some degree of confidence that of the 600 stars within 30 light-years of Earth, there should be roughly 60 potential earth-twins. So, according to Dr. Didier Queloz, the man who co-discovered that first earth-like planet 20 years ago, “If we keep working so well and so enthusiastically, the issue of life on another planet will be solved.” Like and share this video to help others on our little rock become aware of this good news. Finding Life Beyond Earth Are we Alone NOVA HD
Take a spectacular trip to distant realms of our solar system to discover where secret forms of life may lie hidden. Combining the latest telescope images with dazzling animation, this program immerses audiences in the sights and sounds of alien worlds, while top astrobiologists explain how these places are changing how we think about the potential for life in our solar system. We used to think our neighboring planets and moons were fairly boring—mostly cold, dead rocks where life could never take hold. Today, however, the solar system looks wilder than we ever imagined. Powerful telescopes and unmanned space missions have revealed a wide range of dynamic environments—atmospheres thick with organic molecules, active volcanoes, and vast saltwater oceans. This ongoing revolution is forcing scientists to expand their ideas about what kinds of worlds could support life. If we do find primitive life-forms elsewhere in the solar system, it may well be that life is common in the universe—the rule, and not the exception.

Life from Other Planets!!
Life from other planets visiting earth? Disclosure occurring in other parts of the globe? There are UFO's in our skies all the time. We are not alone in the universe. Take a quick trip into the dark realities that some say are going on all around us and we know not of them. Is Sirius something to worry about? Beams of light shooting down from the sky? Two suns in the sky? What is going on? A complilation of videos that may lead you to realize that we are not alone, and that another planet is nearby 'without our knowing.' The only way that would be possible would be to have a cloaked spaceship 'the size of a planet' (which then, might explain those strange noises we've been hearing in the skies as of late - mother ship?). You be the judge. Are we alone in this universe? Some, many, state 'not.' I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor)

signs of life on other planets within 20 years- Space/Astronomy
Space/Astronomy Stars, Planets, and Galaxies Hints, Tips, and Equipment for Stargazers New Discoveries in Astronomy Space Exploration Observatories and Space Missions Tools and Equipment for Astronomy Basic Resources for Astronomy and Space Does Life Exist Elsewhere in Our Galaxy? The Search for Alien Life in the Far Reaches of Space SHARE PIN EMAIL By John P. Millis, Ph.D, Space/Astronomy Expert The search for life outside our tiny blue rock has consumed the imagination of man for decades. But now, with increasingly advanced technology we may finally be on the verge of discovering where else life may exist in our galaxy. The more we search, however, the more we realize that life may be rather precious after all. There have already been claims of detection, mostly met with controversy for one reason or another. And accompanying said claims comes the unfounded declarations that life must also exist on these worlds. But just because we find a planet that appears fit for life, and I am sure that we will in the not too distant future make such a discovery, does it mean necessarily that life does exist there?“Our own galaxy has 100 billion stars and our universe has upwards of 100  billion galaxies — making the chance for life elsewhere seem inevitable based on sheer probability,” said Dr Seager. In the next decade or two, a handful of “potentially habitable” exoplanets — planets that do not orbit the Sun but a different star — will have been found with atmospheres that can be studied in detail by sophisticated space telescopes, she said. The first of these “next generation” telescopes will be Nasa’s James Webb Space Telescope, due to launch in 2018. It will be able to analyse the atmospheres of dozens of “super-Earths” —rocky planets somewhat larger than Earth — including several that could harbour life. Studying a planet’s atmosphere for signs of life involves capturing starlight filtering through its gases. Different elements absorb different wavelengths of light, providing information about the atmosphere’s make-up. Living things, from bacteria to large animals, are expected to produce “biosignature” gases that could be detected in a planet’s atmosphere. These include oxygen, ozone, nitrous oxide, and methane. The problem faced by scientists is that some of these, such as methane, can be generated by geological processes as well as life. The likelihood of “false positives” could be reduced by searching for rarer biosignature gases, said Dr Seager. She added: “We stand on a great threshold in the human history of space exploration. If life is prevalent in our neighbourhood of the galaxy, it is within our reach to be the first generation in human history to finally cross this threshold and learn if there is life of any kind beyond Earth.

Best Proof We Have For Life On Other Planets
Best Proof We Have For Life On Other Planets https://youtu.be/ds1HKiG6jWc ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Top Ten Presents, BEST Proof We Have For Life on Other Planets 8. Earlier this year, a team of scientists estimated that about 4.5 billion years ago at least one-fifth of Mars was covered in an ocean more than 450 feet deep. Any signs of life that swam in these waters could therefore be hidden in the Martian soil. 7. Asteroids and comets are key to the formation of life on Earth, scientists think. In particular, comet impacts, according to a report last August, likely caused amino acids to combine and form the building blocks of life. From what we know about solar-system formation, there are other comets in other planetary systems that could be doing the same thing right now. 6. Beyond Europa is Saturn's moon Enceladus, which scientists confirmed this month houses a giant, global ocean beneath its icy outer shell. Like Europa, Enceladus' ocean is an ideal place where life beyond Earth could live. 5. Besides Earth, Saturn's largest moon Titan is the only body in the solar system with lakes on its surface. These lakes would not spawn similar life to Earth because they are made of liquid methane, not water. However, earlier this year a group at Cornell showed how methane-based, oxygen-free living cells could exist on Titan. 4. It's possible that life can only form and thrive on Earth-like planets, which would mean our only chance of detecting aliens is on planets beyond our solar system. Last July, scientists detected an Earth-like planet 1,400 light-years away. Its size, orbit, sun, and age provide the "opportunity for life to arise somewhere on the surface. 3. If there are millions of intelligent alien civilizations out there, many ask, then why haven't we heard from them? It could be that our home galaxy, the Milky Way, is not an entirely hospitable galaxy for life, according to a scientific report last month that suggests other galaxies in the universe could host 10,000x more habitable planets than the Milky Way. 2. We're all made of heavy atoms forged in the explosions of supermassive stars. This not only connects us to the universe, but highlights the possibility of alien life, explains famed astrophysicist and director of the Hayden Planetarium, Neil deGrasse Tyson: "These ingredients become part of gas clouds that condense, collapse, form the next generation of solar systems — stars with orbiting planets. And those planets now have the ingredients for life itself." 1. Jupiter's tiny moon Europa is scarred with brown veins that are suspected to show where warmer, dirtier liquid water in the moon's mantle seeped through its crust. Europa could harbor more water than Earth, which is why both America and Europe are investing hundreds of millions of dollars into designs for future missions that would search for life beneath its surface. Life on Mars: NASA. Evidence of Past Life on the Red Planet. Origins of Life part 3
http://Cosmology.com This video details the scientific evidence proving that microbial life lived on Mars from 4 billion to at least 1 million years ago. A documentary film by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D. This film is the Third chapter (Part 3), from the 55 minute film: God & The Origin of Life. This video and the associated chapters, are founded on considerable scientific evidence and are not based on religion or conceptions of god. Some viewers leap to irrational conclusions about religion or god based on the title. Each chapter may be viewed, on youtube, in any order. 1: God & the Origin of Life: The Myth of the Organic Soup. /watch?v=ByUod2VmBQY 2: Meteors & the Origins of Life /watch?v=eW9nMJR4wWk 3: Life on Mars /watch?v=Wj4Q1hPRoDs 4: Fossils & Life Found on the Moon /watch?v=M0JWiZK5bUI 5: Origins: Life is Everywhere. Life in Extreme Environments /watch?v=sjsnI3v5WM8 The entire video may be viewed at http://BrainMind.com/Astrobiology.html The purpose of these 5 chapters and this film is to create a scientific revolution and paradigm shift in scientific thinking and in our understanding of life on earth and in the universe. In order to protect the status quo, the "scientific establishment" typically falsely classifies all arguments and evidence challenging their beliefs, as an either/or choice between: science vs religion. There is a 3rd choice, represented by these videos, are based on 100% pure science and have nothing to do with religion or intelligent design. The attack against religion is a "straw dog" and the fraudulent attempts to mischaracterize Dr. Rhawn Joseph's views, are designed to deflect attention from the fact that theories such as "Darwinism" and the "organic soup" have major flaws. In fact, there was no organic soup, at least not on Earth. There is absolutely no evidence in support of the organic soup. By contrast, there is considerable scientific evidence for the views presented here. As detailed in these videos, life is everywhere, and the first creatures to appear on Earth, our ancient ancestors, came from other planets. As detailed in these 6 chapters. 1) The Organic Soup is a myth based on a theology of miracles. 2) Life on Earth first originated on other planets. 3) A star and its solars system, several times the size of our own, exploded in a vast supernova over 5 billion years ago. 4) Mountains of debris including oceans of ice were cast into space, and some of this ejected formed our own solar system and the Earth. 5) This debris contained living creatures and their DNA. 6) Fossils have been found on 5 chronditer meteors formed before the creation of this solar system and which contain physical evidence of this supernova. 7) Fossils have been found on 3 meteors from Mars, and soil samples from the moon 8) A single dormant microbe was discovered in a camera on the moon. 9) Life on Earth can exist in any environment, from the radioactive, well below freezing, in the liquid fire of thermal vents, and at the bottom of the ocean under 9,000 pounds of pressure per square inch. 10) When threatened with death, microbes and simple animals and plants can form microscopic spores, and microbes can come back to life even after 250 million years of dormant slumber. 11) If the Earth were shattered, innumerable creatures could easily survive sheltered in debris, only to come back to life if they land on a life-sustaining world. Conclusion: Life on Earth (and on Mars) came from other planets. Our ancient ancestors, are visitors from the stars. The Next Revolution Has Begun!

Alien life on other planets: ‘Ocean World’ moons of Saturn, Jupiter may support life - TomoNews
WASHINGTON — New research from NASA suggests that oceans on moons orbiting Saturn and Jupiter could support microorganisms. The data comes from two NASA ventures: the Cassini mission to Saturn’s moon Enceladus and Hubble Space Telescope observations of Europa, Jupiter’s lunar body. Both planets are covered in ice, with vast oceans beneath the surface. The space agency dubbed both lunar bodies “ocean worlds” in a press release. Data from the Cassini mission indicates Enceladus’ waters may support microbial life as the moon contains all the chemical elements required for life to exist, CNN reported. The spacecraft, launched in 1997, detected hydrogen — a key component chemical to support life — while observing a plume in October 2015. The Hubble Space Telescope observed a 62-mile-high water plume erupting from a warm surface of Europa last year. This eruption was twice as high as another plume scientists last observed in 2014 in the same area. Scientists will investigate Europa further in the coming decade. The Europa findings were reported in The Astrophysical Journal Letters, while the Enceladus research was published in the journal Science. ------------------------------------------------------------- Go to https://www.patreon.com/tomonews and become a Patron now TomoNews is now on Patreon and we've got some cool perks for our hardcore fans. Evolution of Life On Other Planets: Even the Gods Have Gods
http://Cosmology.com Evolution & Metamorphosis of Life From Other Planets. Even the Gods have Gods, by Rhawn Joseph, Ph.D. The seeds of life, actual living creatures and their DNA, flow throughout the cosmos and have taken root on innumerable worlds much older than our own. And these genetic seeds contain the DNA instruction for the metamorphosis of all life, including woman and man...and this is how life on our planet began. Life on Earth came from other planets and these living creatures contained the genetic instructions for the evolutionary metamorphosis of all life which has taken root on Earth--replicating and recreating living creatures that long ago lived on other planets.
