The game is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, where a preacher named Joseph Seed has risen to prominence. Seed believes that he has been chosen to protect the people of Hope County from an "inevitable collapse" and has established a congregation called Eden's Gate. Ostensibly, this is to fulfill his mission of leading the people to salvation; in reality, Seed is a radical preacher and Eden's Gate is a militaristic doomsday cult. Under his rule, Eden's Gate has used both coercion and violence to forcibly convert the residents of Hope County, and intimidation to keep them from contacting the outside world for help. When an attempt to arrest Seed ends with the deaths of several lawmen, the player is swept into the armed conflict between Eden's Gate and the remaining Hope County residents, who are organizing themselves into a resistance movement.
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. There are a lot of filler "story missions" in this game, which I omitted to make sure it didn't get too repetitive. Not that it wasn't fun. But for a viewing experience, a lot of the story missions didn't push the story forward in a relevant way.
This is what I have been wondering since the start and even with the use of the bliss drugs and the fact that this takes place in America in a secluded state or whatever half of the stuff is still in my opinion impossible for the cult to pull off and literally from the very beginning if there were this many people who are saying that The cult was taking over, the National Guard would’ve been long involved by then
Han Hattori Hanzo are you kidding me? Can you not imagine an army of the US’s finest taking down a corrupt cult with the power of .50 cals, snipers, jets, planes, bombs and burgers? That would be one hell of a show and a shit ton of entertainment, I would watch it anywhere, anytime.

So many plot holes in the first 15 minutes alone that only make sense if you suspend disbelief long enough to say to yourself "Well of course they did it like that, they're crazy!" But having said that, it's at the very least a cinematic masterpiece. It doesn't take away from the fact that what we're supposed to believe in the first 15 minutes is that a) The cult is so crazy they didn't just shoot up the Marshall and hijack their then free Helicopter - but that they chose to throw one of themselves into the blades pointlessly like a lunatic to take the free Helicopter out. B) That a bunch of woodsmen, would have any problem shooting a near comatose and stunned person staggering out of a helicopter crash site, and C) That a bunch of trained woodsmen, who would all be hunters can't just easily track down a dazed person stumbling through the woods..
Also, why didn't he hold the Sheriff or something? He literally just watched him walk to that rope. This story is good, but these little inconsistencies in the way a normal person would react is really bothersome.
this games setting characters and overall visual and audio aesthetics are very appealing to me. but open world games are just not for me, the chaos and mess of the whole quests, that guy on the radio doesn't shut up and missions and conversations overlap all the time, ugh...... i wish games were like doom, follow a path and enjoy,
I'd like Ubsoft to make a game like this loosely based on Muslim faith. Using quotes from Quran and songs like they are using in this game. But I bet that Ubisoft wont be doing that; because unlike Christian faith; muslims will react in a violent way. It's easy to mock a culture/religion when you no there will be no repercussion.
Is it ever explained why the government is unable to help the Resistance against Eden's Gate? I would imagine a sadistic doomsday cult creating an independent religious state on American soil wouldn't just be allowed to happen.
oh that ending was on point like it explains everything about what he was doing and building (albeit he was going about it a weird culty way) and is shockingly dark. like i love that you're left to dwell on your decisions. i love unpredictable endings like this its so much more interesting than the standard "you kill the bad guy and save the day endings" super good story now if only I had a console to play this game my dang self
People thought this game looked like shit at first reveal and then it just grew and grew. I actually had a nightmare that I was trapped in some weird society run by a bunch of weirdos and had to escape through a forest at night while shit was popping off. Didn't take me long after I woke up to realize what that was about.
I liked the ending? crazy bastard was right. perfect example of becoming so engulfed in one reality, so focused on one goal, so true to your own personal beliefs that you aren't able to see the bigger picture (presumably in this instance the deterioration of world relations (I know there are holes in this, ain't got time for no essay)). is he crazy? or is it you?
still feels like the same game wearing a new mask tho. nothing groundbreaking here. AC origins was much better if you're into the whole retrieve this, go explore deal. just my opinion tho.
1. Bad Movie/ Game.
2. It's good when you make a limit on how far the series goes. This has gone beyond limit. And it's not good anymore. Plus it's sure that there is going to be another following title. It would have been good if they ended the series here.
3. The gameplay is boring. The same far cry things. It's cringe now. Always has to be some hero type, liberate, roam, hunting etc. But in this case it's cringed as fuck. Know the limits. Or they could have just changed the gameplay a bit.
4. The protagonist Rook a.k.a Deputy is either deaf or dumb. And all the protagonist in Farcry seems to be it. The guy here is like impregnable. Probably the bliss gave him superpower. Always get caught and end up in a room. Whereas you can see your partner running around when the heroes head starts acting who just don't care. And Jacob is probably the same being impregnable and always knows how to get away from a crash faster than anybody unaffected. And the folks there have airplane and so does the hero. But nobody has any plans to go out and bring help i.e National guards, the army vice versa.
5. Your shooting is very bad. Even though you want to play fast it can be better.
6. Upto Farcry 3 was enough for me. I don't like when companies do this and knows and yet don't know when they need to stop or how to maintain pace. Same like Call of duty. I am long done with this titles. Just watch this on movie forms. Just to know.
Anyways good job bringing it here.
This game is excelent except one thing .. I cant stand that the main protagonist survived his every capture .. eveyone is scared of Seeds as fuck .. but Rook managed to escape more than 15 fucking times.. It makes them not so strong as they really are .. that is bullshit for me ..
I have several questions 1. Why were there so many military bunkers? 2. Where did they get the nukes? 3. Why did he call it a collapse? He literally blew up the nukes all in a no name County which is probably of no use to the US government and so nothing has collapsed.
Just wanna say I really appreciate this channel. Not only do you present the cutscenes and all the gameplay necessary to the plot, you seem to go out of your way to make the gameplay itself as entertaining as possible. It keeps that constant cinematic type of feeling throughout. Like, mega kudos
*Made a nice cinematic music video for "Set Those Sinners Free" song from Far Cry 5 OST. Would be great to get some feedback on this, especially, on the channel.*

"Three rules: Stick close. Keep your guns in your holsters and let me do the talking."
*_FIRST THING THIS BITCH DOES IS WALK OUT WITH A SHOTGUN IN HER HANDS_*
Not even 5 minutes into the game and the developers already stopped giving a fuck.
