You can make it fun by starting with the story(how did we get here story, etc), why is it necessary?, what can it do? etc.
Bezaleel Olakunori (21 hours ago)
I actually tried to make it fun myself and I got addicted.

I get annoyed when people have the same ideas I do, it means I have almost no intellect.

To all those like me watching this video and thinking "why didn't I pay more attention to Maths class at School?", I say, don't blame yourself. We should be blaming our education system for making our teachers teach the way they did to make Maths less fun and uninteresting.

He’s no more Indian than native Americans are.

I love maths upto infinity. But Higher order Maths is quite hard to understand. In fact , quality of teaching is important , but at the same time self learning is the bast learning

Manjul B is a true representative of Indian culture and its values. Particularly for the "Hemchandra" numbers which invented by Indian mathematician well before Fibonacci.

God is a mathematician that does not deal with Imaginary numbers, God only using real Whole numbers to create the Heavens and the Earth, the Universe, the reality of Everything that exists in the material sense of the word.

In my neighborhood in central Florida math is the sum of all the lessons learned by appreciating the velocity a bullet achieves by applying a trigger. It's simple: the teacher is scared. And the thug wins. And if you succeed at intimidating the teacher you've achieved notoriety, though, of a backward kind. The need to be heard, here, is clearly bigger than the need to listen.

I am also a mathematician

Smart toys help in learning about math.......but it takes a looong time, that is how I see it, we need to break (philosophically speaking) the math behind the toy!! Dr. Manjul Bhargava, just WOOOOOOWWW! The Dr. is a prophet. The KEY he pointed at first was LEARN TO DO IT ON Y O U U R OWN!!!!!! THAT IS WAS FIRST PREPOSITIONING!!! DON'T fORGET IT ( iTS THE EUREKA's EPIPHANY of his interview)

One of many examples, presented by MB, on how ancient Indian/Hindu knowledge was stolen and renamed by colonists over 1000 years.
Harshithraj Poojary (29 days ago)
Here is a debate, you all started on nationality.! I am not to debate on Manjul Bhargava is an Indian or not. But we all should plan such an education system, in India, which makes every child like Manjul Bhargava. If we go to history of mathematics, there is rich contribution done by Indian.

I know it's a bit negative this time but truth is truth.those shits who feel proud calling him Indian this is for them.if his parents stayed on India he could be another victim of fucking reservation system or he also could have ended up with a huge package from iit or iim

Sanskrit & Prof.Manjul just simple ROCKS.. its really an unfortunate approach of the indian education system...as most of us are unaware that Hemchandra existed & contributed so much for mathematics..same knowledge we are borrowing it from fibonachi...SAD IT IS.

NEWKNOWLEDGE (2 months ago)
Sadly, if you avoid math, and you just use your head instead, you are rejected. I have no background physics education, and so when Einstein's theory of Special Relativity(SR) was described via math on TV/Books or on the internet, it made no sense to me at all. Math just seemed to make things more complicated. So in my spare time I analyzed "motion". In doing so, I eventually figured out SR by myself, and I also independently derived all of the SR mathematical equations, and did so in a manner that no one else seems to have even thought of as of yet. It was a heck of a lot easier to discover the SR phenomena yourself first, and then convert your understanding of SR into mathematical equations secondly. I have been rejected ever since, all due to my thinking independently.

Either the interviewer should have been someone more passionate about math or the guy 'genius' should have chosen more profound examples to give the student audience. Examples that someone as passionate as Leonardo Davinci or Galileo would have choosen.

Reading, writing and public speaking are far more important skills to become proficient in, in order to achieve a sufficient level of success within society. Mathematics beyond basic skills of computation are not necessary for the majority of people. Computer skills will become a thing of the past as well, as we move to a world that relies on voice activated commands, artificial intelligence, driverless cars, etc. The world will be run by sound automation which requires less human resources. Sad, but relevant.

*Don't be very happy Indians.* He is neither born in India, nor raised in India, nor has Indian nationality. What India can do is just kick and demean it's talent in the name of reservation and cheap, corrupt politics. The educated ones would always want to leave India and settle abroad due to great Indian policies.

Hey you girl we even don't want him to be Indian mathematician.....we have already genius mathemicians due to whom the legacy of mathematics survived- 1.Aryabhatt- gave the concept of 0 and without 0 you can't imagine mathematics in fact there would be no maths at all 2. Srinivada Ramunajan- gave the concept of sum of infinity which is the most important term in modern mathematics( quantum mechanics) 3.Roman numericals were only formed due to Indians of ancient india who had trade with Arab nations 4.Varamihira - gave the concept of pie which means 22/7 without this pie we would have even fail to take out the circumference of a normal pond 5.- Nagarjuna- gave the concept of congruence also, there are many more great mathematicians who formed the entire structure of mathematics but I don't have a lot of time to make stupid and idiot peoples make familiar with those greatest mathematicians....Those were greatest they didn't left India and settled in abroad...also Srinivasa Ramunjan was not a mathematician of ancient India he was a mathematician of independent India...he died too early if he would have survived even 10 - 20 years more than he would have contributed a lot in mathematics....
