NO THANKS, too much work whichever way you look at it. There's a better solution called DUVAID (www.duvaid.com). They're little hooks that sit at each corner of your bed as you put the duvet through the comforter. Then you tuck them back in the mattress and resume over and over again. Super smart, easy and affordable!
Stuart Marshall (2 years ago)
Don't you put the duvet cover over your duvet?
machariel00 (2 years ago)
This is cultural appropriation. CULTURAL APPORIATIOOOON!!!
Freddie Casterton (2 years ago)
spent 10 minutes trying this just to see it takes 2 minute to do it the normal way
Tina Hartmann (2 years ago)
It does not work
denisthefuzz (2 years ago)
Genius, you duvet wizzard.
Rosalind Pindyck (2 years ago)
So not good for a King Duvet with a small opening in the middle! And this decorator(BC survivor from stage 4 /34 yrs ago. I should have known, especially with a huge heavy Ralph Lauren comforter!!! Go to plan B lol .Carry on!
J W. (2 years ago)

my only problem is that the zip is along the side not at the bottom! maybe it will still work sideways!!!
s.w. a.l.k (2 years ago)
is it a burrito or a duvet? a small thing but when you watch so many videos on how to do things, less is better. Less chit chat, less calling something one thing and then calling it another thing. I like the idea though
Kaitlin Gascoyne (2 years ago)
there was a blanket in the duvet though 😂
Sandi Small (2 years ago)
Could not get the hang of this one!
Christina jenkins (2 years ago)
Tried this, and its not an easier way for me. I just put the comforter inside pinched the corners and held both upwards. Both fell together beautifully. Did take two to do it.
Ida Knownbetta (2 years ago)
i got tired just watching you do this. ingenious.
giraffasaurous (2 years ago)
this is magical. I just changed mine using this method. SO MUCH easier.
Tr33fiddy (2 years ago)
This was so cool it got me to change my sheets.
Karlie S (2 years ago)
you owe me 3 mins and 16 seconds.
Alma (2 years ago)
Still too much work but I guess
First Last (2 years ago)
guess I have to google what a duvet cover is. normally just use a base sheet and then another sheet or blanket depending on weather
Carl Sixsmith (2 years ago)
I don't know what a burrito is
Trenice Crawford (2 years ago)
GREAT IDEA!!! I was just looking for a way to make new comforters!!! Thank you!!
nein (2 years ago)

wardle07 (2 years ago)
Just wanna say what a complete waste of time this video , the only thing that looked like a Burrito was my back after trying such a wasteful solution. Good day to you miss
Sydney Harris (2 years ago)
+wardle07 maybe lose some weight?
Heidi Bertels (2 years ago)
I don't think I save time doing it this way, but it's much more fun ;-)
Tysterkaar (2 years ago)
Duvet covers brought to you by Chipotle
Desi Videsi (2 years ago)
why make things simple when complicated goes as well??...is my comment to above method.
Miz (2 years ago)
This method made my life a lot easier in comparison to the "regular" method. Thank you so much for making this video-I don't dread removing my duvet covers to wash them (as much lol) anymore. Thanks again :-)
Lyndal Bruns (2 years ago)
Thank you this is a great idea. I have a messed up spine so this make it so much easier.
RuthieEleanor (2 years ago)
Can't do it. 😭
Thomas Hom (2 years ago)
Ed Bignell ...watch your dirty mouth. Anybody who does not know a comforter must be a redneck hillbilly!
Ann McKenna (2 years ago)
Thank-you!!  This was soooo easy!!!
Gerry Uretsky (2 years ago)
Very helpful video.  Thank you for posting it.
MozgPt (2 years ago)
Best. Video. Ever. Thank You!!!
jolie robles (2 years ago)
WILL this work if you have inner, sewn-in ties to hold the duvet in place...or will this method strain, twist and possibly break the ties?
Josh Adams (2 years ago)
it didn't work for me
theoriginalhellorach (2 years ago)
This is amazing! I've always struggled and now use this method every time!
Fay Entwistle (2 years ago)
I must say that I was a bit sceptical when I saw this video. But I have given it a try..... Thank you so much for sharing as I found it so much easier & quicker than the 'usual' method..
Victor Carneiro (3 years ago)
I found that trick just great 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Jake Jung (3 years ago)
WOW! Blessings to this video!
imakefoodhappen (3 years ago)
This seems like more work to me.
Erica (3 years ago)
So helpful!!!
Yaron Rosen (3 years ago)
haha thanks! my mom said i will never learn how to do this, now i prove her :D
jools182 (3 years ago)
The duvet cover covers the duvet. The clue is in the name. No idea what a comforter is. It's a duvet
Alane Beam (3 years ago)
Take a look at this easy and clever solution
Balgran Tango (3 years ago)
Brilliant !!!! thanks!
robert hingston (3 years ago)
The old way is quickest for me personally just put inside cover hold two corners nearest to you and flick! takes 10 seconds tops . This new discovered way takes longer for me.
latmens (3 years ago)
Tryed it. Old way takes about a minute. This takes way longer and it's not that easy! Ok, Maybe with practice i can do it faster, but i don't think that i can do it under aminute.
ThisBoyPodcasts (3 years ago)
that looks cool, but honestly a lot more work :/
Irgendein Phangirl (3 years ago)
bfreder (3 years ago)
OMG!!! Ingenious is not the word, I hated washing the duvet, it's a king size and I would wrestle the darn thing and dread putting it back on. I found your video and it took maybe 5 minutes to put it on. I have told maybe 20 people so far about this way..simply ingenious!!!!!
friet stoof (3 years ago)
Kenneth Ersgard (3 years ago)
This is a ridiculously cumbersome way of doing it. I just invert the cover and it's done in less than 30 seconds...
New LifeHack
robert hingston (3 years ago)
Easy now
YUKI DEKYOU (3 years ago)
OMG That's a lot easier way. Thank you
Victoria N (3 years ago)
My bed sheets brought me here.
abacus912 (3 years ago)
Doesn't work whatsoever, waste of time!
Michael Parker (3 years ago)
i am without doubt the most stupid, cack-handed and left handed impractical idiot on the planet....and it worked for meeeeee!!!!!!!
xMourningStar (3 years ago)
Who was the genius that figured this out and let us all suffer for YEARS without the knowledge!? omg.
kamibelgium (3 years ago)
broke a fingernail in the process but so glad it worked!
Sharon Stickney (3 years ago)
I didn't find this easier either. I feel like the best way to change a duvet cover is to just burn it and buy a quilt.  Thanks for the trick though. I hope it works better for some people! :)
Clarissa Spencer (3 years ago)
I thought it was not going to be as fun as shaking it but when your wrists hurts, it's great! Thanks :)
Ghost_in_Wolf_skin (3 years ago)
Didn't think i was doing it right but it totally worked out in the end, thanks for the help!
Claire Tran Le (3 years ago)
wowww.Thank a lot.
Joe Kelly (3 years ago)
Genius! Thanks!
Julie C. (3 years ago)
Well, I wouldn't say it was life changing, but I did find it easier than the way I had been doing it... part of the reason I think it was easier for me is that I am only a smidgen taller than 5'. It is hard to shake out a duvet that is taller than I am...
Bill Kahn (3 years ago)
I think the conventional method took shorter amount of time.
vicki ssimo (3 years ago)
I knew this trick but just wanted to remind it myself now. I rolled the burito than thought that I must do somethinf wrong and unrilled it again. I just couldn t comprehend how will that burito turn out into a nice duvet again, covered neatly. After unrolling it I checked on youtube and came accross this clip, which just confirmed that what I was doing I was doing right but my lack of confidence made me to stop in the middle of the process lol. Thanks for the reminder and confirmation! I hate changing the duvets and this trick made it all so frixking easy. It s almost like a magician trick. No more shaking all that dust mites amymore around the room!!!!
cantabileloves (3 years ago)
Omg this is brilliant. Thank you!
Steve Lang (3 years ago)
Thankyou very much. Brill
Fiona Boss (3 years ago)
Great tip
Xena Jada (3 years ago)
Yayyy.  It worked on my oversized king duvet.  Looked like a hot mess at one point but it worked.
Jennifer Webb (3 years ago)
This is magical. Thank you!
Sohel Sohel (3 years ago)
Andrew Gunady (3 years ago)
You just need to fold the duvet in half and half again, then slide it inside the cover and unfold, done easy.
RJ R (3 years ago)
Why do you call it a "duvet cover" on one hand, and the thing you are covering a  "comforter"? In general parlance a duvet cover, covers a DUVET.
Caffeinated (3 years ago)
What if your duvet cover has ties inside to fasten to the duvet? Will it still work?
Ifs & Buts (3 years ago)
Twice as much work. Seriously?
ティラ (3 years ago)
disagree with 2:50
The Hero (3 years ago)
Just pick it all up, fold it inside out evenly, lay on proper corner, then unfold it revealing the correct side. It's not hard to figure out.
Ciara Murphy (3 years ago)
This is so helpful for me because  of my short arms haha!! Thank you :)
Joseph Gilardi (3 years ago)
That is NOT how you roll a burrito
BlakeEloise (3 years ago)
This slow. The usual duvet cover inside out. I make  2 or 3, when your is 1 the same times
Hannah Hazlehurst (3 years ago)
To all the people saying this is harder than the inside-out-grab-corner method I agree, but this burrito method is ideal for me and other dust allergy sufferers. I used to grab the corners and shake my duvet and I'd always end up with a lumpy duvet which no amount of shaking would fix. Also, the shaking would kick up so much dust that I'd be sneezing for 2 hours afterwards. This method is great for my allergy in that no shaking is required. Thank you for this!
bec x (3 years ago)
I don't think anyone would do that to take the quilt out of the cover. Takes seconds to yank it out. But pretty nifty to make the bed, will have to try it, Tbf I got out of breath watching it 😂
Abel Catacho (3 years ago)
What is this wizardry, where can I learn more
Nao Yoneda (3 years ago)
Taquito. Lol. Thanks for sharing this handy tip! Will use it next time for sure!
Peri H (3 years ago)
3 times longer than any method i know before... what a trick
David Allen (3 years ago)
im not sure if this is a simpler trick or not, but it is certainly a cool tip, thanks
Edward Bignell (3 years ago)
what the fuck is a comforter
Jazzy Lemon (2 years ago)
+Biscuit Biscuit Because the americans call a duvet a comforter.
Takes longer though..
GriLtCheeZ (3 years ago)
That is really cool, but I think it should be called the Taquito method.
ConstanceTheThird (3 years ago)
I don't see how this is easier than the usual method: Turn duvet cover inside out, reach inside and grab two corners, grab matching duvet corners. Get up and shake both until duvet is is fully covered.
akAsha6E6D (2 years ago)
+ConstanceTheThird I guess its easier on the arms-shaking...I agree with you I use the same method, although I personally get up on the bed to shake the queen duvet size many times to straighten out ,it does get a little tiring, maybe I flipping hard i even have hit the light!!! haha!! although quicker than above method...its not a bad hack at all...quite smooth.
Sal Mirren (3 years ago)
+ConstanceTheThird It's the shaking that's a drag, especially with a duvet for wide beds. The Taquito/ Burrito method is easier when tired.  MY problem with it however is that the cover opening is only a meter wide, but the cover itself and the duvet are 2 meters wide.
Стоит испытать )))
в 3 раза больше геморроя

+Michal A so relieved to find this comment. I don't really understand either lol
lovemetu (3 years ago)
+Michal A  Me also, will have to try it and keep checking the video as I do it.I do it the same way as +ConstanceTheThird  says eg  that I have co copied and pasted comment below and it is simple to do it that way and only takes me about a minute to do my king size bed, so how is the method in this video so life changing ?   To quote +ConstanceTheThird ''I don't see how this is easier than the usual method: Turn duvet cover inside out, reach inside and grab two corners, grab matching duvet corners. Get up and shake both until duvet is is fully covered.''
