Fjord won't let Caleb take the scroll case, but lets Ulog walk out with important paperwork? Wtf? Also, this is why I always keep Charm Person prepped;
"Fjord... How long- no, how much have we been through together, in such a short time? You know you can trust me..." (casts)
Is anyone else curious what it is the group is always snickering at after the intro video when Matt says "Welcome back"? At first I thought it was just because irl Matt is basically saying "...tonight's episode of critical role...And welcome back." But these are professionals who are in their second season of this, so they've got to be used to that. So somebody must be cracking jokes right before the camera cuts to them?
Well it airs on Twitch in real time, so it's not just a cut, there is time while the theme is playing for them. They might be cracking jokes. I know Liam often tries to make dirty jokes or say things to crack Matt up before the feed goes live.
Ah finally, I've reached it.
I was browsing Twitch one night and saw that D&D broadcasting was a thing, and I tramped upon Critical Role doing a stream. Tuned in and got immediately hooked. So I figured I'd start watching the series from the beginning, and now I'm at that episode again, except everything actually makes sense and I know who the characters are now, and I'll actually be paying full attention. This will be much better the second time around :)
I think a lot of pressure is placed on Mat Mercer. It seems that being a DM is a lot of work, and Mat seems to do his Home-Work. All that planning almost can't compare how good he is at handling things on the fly. That being said, the players are awesome at respecting(?) his decisions. He is really good at creating interesting and engaging scenarios. /endgush

EDIT: "You can jump ten feet?" says jester with a high strength and can jump ten feet effortlessly... lol
I know Matt fudged to save nott. He forgot guiding bolt had advantage and the rogue didn't have to disengage since it had no attack of opportunity could have attacked 2 times with advantage killing nott
2:50:00. I am loving this battle with the magic carpet. One of the funniest battles that I have witnessed on Critical Role. The Carpet is kicking their azz more than any adversary that I have seen them face in quite some time.
I was originally goin to express my disappointment that this episode didn’t have closed captions available, instead however I would just like to thank critical role for providing them at all when they did :)
