I know a lot of you seem torn about the use of the Star Wars music in the trailer. I also felt conflicted when editing it. But the thing is, I was listening to the song one day, and I got a clear vision of what the trailer would be like. And I just had to run with that inspiration. I hope you can look past the fact that it's a Star Wars song, because I just think it fits so well with what I wanted to convey in the trailer. Thanks again for the support, and especially for the positive criticism!
+Joseph vohland (Angel of hope) Can't make any promises, got a busy month this month. But we definitely wanted to do the Ninja Gaiden's. Hopefully in March we can make some time for it. I remember it did have some amazing cutscenes too

Look I am SUPER excited for this movie, more than other movies coming out this year. I do know you guys wanna add the directors cut and you've worked hard on them, but I think since it is already a atleast 14 hour flick maybe lessen the game play, just to I don't know make the film not move too slowly if you see where I'm getting at. Either way I'm excited and grateful for your guy's work into this.
Hey GLP, are those Reach clips captured on the Xbox One? They didn't have the strange overlapping frames issue when I played it back in slow motion. That issue is the only thing preventing me from remastering the Halo Reach cutscenes for the Halo Cinematic Project.
+Gamer's Little Playground Pardon my ship mistake, it's been a while... Another option could also have been to use the original Halo 3 "They let me pick" intro with the music up until the end of the speech, using cuts as you have done so very well, and then bring in the Star Wars music after. I'm listening to both and the tone seems to work well? Maybe on the next one ;)
Keep up the great work guys, I watch so much of it ;p
+DAVICIOUSX Well I didn't intend for people to think it was a Halo ring, I just really like the scene because of the beautiful sky box, and I love Master Chief walking into the camera. It's actually the Infinity that is breaking through the clouds. You're definitely right about the speech, the Halo 3 one would have been much better. The only reason I couldn't use it though is because it already has a song behind it, and it sounded weird if I tried the noise removal on it. Thanks for the great comment, opinions and positive criticism!
+110 Nope, hardware. Wanna push to the limitations? Go to the X-One, wanna stick with the old graphics just because of a last gen? Go with a 360. I'm not saying that the 360 is bad, just that is too outdated, but that doesn't mean that their games are bad, that's why I just bought it now.
(Sorry for the bad english).
No ODST clips in the Trailer? Other than that great! Oh i know i keep asking ya this but.....Plz put title cards (ie this the part where you read First Strike otherwise continue to Halo 2 etc) in the Halo Saga v2! That be sick!
If you need help, here is links to a really good Chronological Order from the Halo Waypoint forums:
Oh, and we gotta play Halo ourselves too! I'm up for Snipers in Valhalla in Halo 3! :)
Great editing! Just not a fan of choice for the song. It sounds nice but it was really distracting to me, I'm completely satured with it at this point. And there are so many great themes in the series itself, why not use one of those? Grat job anyway overall ^^
+lshalo3 Thanks, I'm glad you like the editing. You're definitely right, I was even iffy about the song because I knew it'd be hard to differentiate from the Star Wars trailer. But in the end, it just came down to inspiration. I was listening to the song one day, and I got a clear vision of how the Halo trailer would go. I just love Cortana's subtle speech with the slow piano. Everything about the song screams epic space saga, and I just felt like it fit so well with Halo. So in the end I just had to run with it
Hey guys! It's been a while. I loved the first Complete saga, and I know you're probably close to finishing with this one, but don't ya think that you should wait till Halo Wars 2 comes out so that you're not doing it after EVERY new Halo game?
+Yungzon85 Sup Yungzone! Well we have waited a while already, since the last vid we've had the ODSRT Remastered, Spartan Strike and Halo 5. Plus now we're working on a Halo 4 Director's Cut, so there is a lot of new content on this one. We'll probably wait for Halo 3 Anniversary next year until we update again. But you're right we definitely don't want to update after every single Halo game. The bad thing about Halo Wars 2 is not we never know if might be delayed or not. There's not a lot info out there right now, so we're in the dark on whether it's coming out this year or not.
Hats off to everyone who had a hand in making the Halo Universe..
Such a fantastic and thrilling universe.
I have only played 2 games CE and Halo 2. Can't play others cuz I can't afford Xbox. Came to know everything I know about the Halo Universe from YouTube videos and Wikipedia. Still I absolutely love it!
The video was great too. 🙌

Sounds good, but personally I'd like to see more gameplay if it's played well. I don't think most people would have that patience though. I hope you have fun recording it. I recently played through all the Halo campaigns (except Halo Wars and Spartan Strike) again in co-op legendary.
+random commenter It always try to keep it to the bare minimum necessary to make the video fluid. We're re doing a lot of it from the previous video, because we had to rush through parts of the original vid. Gameplay will be much better this time around
