Agreed however i dont understand or agree with the statements on putting Farcry5 is the best anecdote factory as yet. I have been playing this game now and i have played AC Origin which was however far far far grater experience for me or way better reminiscence for me atleast and i’m sure many will agree with me. Ofcourse origin comes from a diff. Time and story but the basic question is which was more fun to okay with. The video here is more inclined towards Farcry5 i see. The game is not that great as its being said by you in this review.
Such a great game in so many ways, one very small criticism I have is there is no car or plane that is super fast to drive around in they all feel a bit slow, although I love the driving and flying physics. Oh also, The AI can be pretty easy even on hardest difficulty or theres not enough enemys. Still, it's so much fun, hope we don't have to wait another 4 years for the next one ;)
Okay sorry but he completely ignored 4 other farcrys which were all the same general setup. Farcry 5 isn't a new evolution, it plays the exact same as farcry 4 which played the exact same as farcry 3 and so on. I love the games and I dont want them to change, I just dont like how he makes it out as revolutionary
My advice: Bumrush the story, grab the best weapons ASAP, and enjoy most of the content postgame so you don't have to worry about the pesky cultists interrupting the fun. When you want some combat, do Outpost master. Eventually, pull a New game Plus and keep all your shit (I'd assume), only to do it all over and get your uniform back because you've busted your ass on the hardest difficulty.
i pre-order gold edition and my expectation was like this would be a game like 3 and 4 but
its fun untill after playing an hour you are forced to play main missions, they completely destroyed this game for me. The resistance piont level !?!?!
Main mission should have been like in older FC games then it would have been a completely different experience.
no enemy after completing the game!? what kind of game is this? i mean seriously what were they even thinking??
minimap should have been optional like in 4.
UI is not even a problem if there is option for it.
gun for hire are not available in the main mission :(
there countless things wrong with this game
this is the most worst game in FC series.
The way the main story connects with the game is a mess and ruins the story. You are captured by the bad guys every mission. I can happen at any moment stopping progress on any side mission you were doing. But it cheapens the antagonist, they could have killed you at any moment but didn't.
A lot of people complain about the forced captures, but you're absolutely right in that it's a far more organic way of driving the main story forward. If you end up missing a few side missions, well, you can go back and do them when the main story is complete. As a company not only making an open world game, but trying to tell a story through it can be really challenging, and this is a good way to address the problem with pacing. It did seem a bit extreme, though, with every hostage rescued or silo destroyed progressing you towards those unavoidable cuts.
But the ending? Any of them? Ug. That's one part I can't overlook.
Once, I jump in a floatplane and toke off, on my way up a flock of ducks flew by, I hit one and it dragged across my windshield, it scared me lol. That was probably the most realistic thing that I've seen in a game, It reminded me of when I was driving a truck in real life and hit a duck flying by. Fucking love this game!
so what are these so called "secrets" lol, the video was put together well but just like FC5's story line you didnt piece it together, video should have been named How Far Cry 5's Open World Is Awesome
!for one shot kills!
l like the 45/70 with a silencer
you can cheat by putting a reflex scope on it and just run around one shot killing peoplewithout needing to aim if you have aim assist on you just tap L2 then shoot and repeat it gets boring cos its so easy eventually so i had to go back to my optical scope
its deffo my fav rifle upto now though thaught its worth a shout out!
I hate the ground hog day story missions. Im Moose hunting in a free world one minute and then Im kidnapped and stuck in a stupid mission trying to kill zombies in a cult base trying to rescue someone I dont know. Of course I die, start over and die, start over, repeat, repeat, repeat. I dont buy open world games to experience this. My other beef is that when I liberate an outpost? I lose the vehicle I came in....... I wish this game operated more like Ghost Recon Wildlands. Sure, it has story missions too, but the Unidad doesnt come kidnap me into a story mission. If I want to spend my time collecting resources or looking for weapon cases? I can do that. I love Montana, log cabins, float planes, etc. But I dont like the cult theme. And I especially hate zombies! Id much prefer a down to earth enemy. Plenty of bad guys to choose from....Commies, drug dealers, separatists, etc.
I have loved far cry. I don't play a lot of games but I've been addicted to the far crys. For some reason I've just not been taken with far cry 5? I find I'm disinterested in the stories and just have no investment in the characters.
Funny because I mostly disagree with what's said in this video. Yes the open world is big, well done and never boring, but it's way less exotic than the other Far Cry games. The random events are so repetitive imo, the story is so poorly told (only a few cinematics, which I really didn't care that much about... like I feel the story doesn't matter at all before the end that's great... Far Cry 3 story was amazing) and yeah there's no mini map but that forces you to pause the game every 3 minutes to check the big map.....
Still a good game, really fun to play but one of the worst Far Cry imo.
Btw where are the "secrets" of the title ??
You know why i didnt like the game though, I loved it for the first few hours but i got sick of, move down the road, combat, win, move, combat, win, mission start, complete mission, move, combat, move, combat.
There was way to many random encounters which led to it not feeling random but, there isnt actually that much to do in the game if you get to each location without a stoppage so we will throw you into a fire fight that you are guaranteed to win every 10 metres
I love the new formula of Far Cry 5, though, just because of the history, I have to say that FC 4 is my favorite one so far... I absolutely love fc5, but, while I do plan on getting 100% completion and all trophies, and I might play it again, in my personal opinion, fc5 doesn't quite have the same replayability as fc4...
I love FC5's story, personally. I just wish it took a lot longer to reach the end, that it didn't force you into the final confrontations with the Seed brothers, or that the cultists didn't disappear from a region just because the Seed brother was killed. I want to spend more time running around killing cultists, hunting and fishing. As it is, I'm already into my third play-through.
Oh good. What a thoroughly useless video that revealed NONE of the secrets alluded to in the title of the video. Quit with the pretentious, self-congratulatory soliloquy and focus on making an instructive, informative video.
Bought this game a day before the realese and then played it when it came out i mean like i sat infront my screen for 5 hours waiting for the game and skipped school next day to play, thats a good game
I Have the game and farcry 4 as wall, they could have made far cry 5 number one, game ,but far cry 4 ,for me ,is a bit better, all round game.far cry 5 is better in the story, but the weapons are weaker, and other little things, you can tell they fall short, where in Far cry 4 they did better.
Theres one thing that is so BAD you cant ignore: enemies, after finnishing the game theres nothing to fight with, just the annimals, but they're no challenge, fc 4 had enemies spawned in anytime so there was always something to do, but here... I cant even use my guns from live events and I dont want to replay the game over and over again just to have something to do. Like who agrees.
