Rat meat can be called rat, like chicken.

I put my Genesis games in the cases that hold 24 games each, but I saved all the boxes with manuals in my storage shed. My NES and SNES I only saved a few boxes so I could store all of the manuals in them.

All that I am think when watching this Game Scoop is, "Man, when I was growing up, being a gamer was taboo," and " I wish that my spouse liked video games." Hopefully when my kids get older they will be those kids that get a taste of how amazing games can be. The only problem I can see is convincing the wife to let them have that opportunity.

Rat meat = verm short for vermin. Like a cross between vomit and germ. It would sell really well 🙄

Why doesn’t Sam host a game collector’s podcast? I’d watch it/listen to it.

I only ever sold PS2 games. Two to be exact, before I realized it wasn't worth it(Too young to get a job and too old to get an allowance). That being said I have every single console I was ever given or bought by self. That includes the Atari 2600 which came out 9 years before I was born.

It was very interesting to hear about the experiences of the crew while playing handhelds in public in the USA. None of these guys seem to get any bad attention anywhere, ever. That's not at all how it is like in Europe, or at least in Finland. A lot of people give you very judgmental looks if play in public. Almost no one does it too. Probably for that reason. Smartphones being the exception.
SeaMonster17 (1 month ago)
I was judged in the past for playing my 3ds at work, but as soon as I bring my switch and they can play mario kart with me its cool haha. Glad the system is so popular.

Duane N unfunny mutant? I've been listening to every form of podcast and video that Brian does for years and I'm a huge fan of that guy. He's great! Unnecessarily harsh I think, man. Fair enough if you don't like him but there is no need for insults

If 76 is too survival oriented and alientates Fallout fans I'm going to be hella frustrated.

Maybe you can choose to be a Raider or a World Builder in Fallout 76. Then you can either try to destroy humanity or build it up and defend
Julien Collins (1 month ago)
I think the game you were searching for at the end is called “Everyone’s Gone to the Rapture” not “The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.” Just have a sneaking suspicion. Not that it really matters but yeah.
squiddly007 (1 month ago)
I cant see it being a RUST clone. If Vault 76 is there, why would you need to build a wooden shack? Maybe you have to go out and find food/water and supplies to keep the vault running properly.

Yeah! I've literally just heard that moment. It was really weird. - stupid, even. So it is like a "must be on Tinder" thing or what? I want to cheer for that lad on the train giving his all in the hopes of courtship. That was truly freaky and I'm going to blame political PTSD. Freaky freaky weird *shudder*

Prefer console to PC so I can buy once a generation and game for years. Think it's too hard not to chase the dragon on PC and upgrade stuff every few years. At that you could own multiple consoles and get to play all the major exclusives along with the rest.

For me this kind of sounds like it is a Fallout CO-OP 2, 3, 4, or single player story mode. But there is a Fallout Online where you pick your own role. For example you can pick caravan guard, traveling merchant, vault boy ect.

I was the guy on A.C. Transit and Bart with a DS, PSP, NOMAD etc
Connor Daniel Wisnom (1 month ago)
Also I feel like the graphics that Fallout 76 uses are the same from Fallout 4. I guess we haven't seen any official gameplay footage but it looks way too similar to 4.
Connor Daniel Wisnom (1 month ago)
Hey!I was thinking maybe the online component would be something closer to along the lines of how Rockstar handled the online component of GTAV and Red Dead Redemption. That way bethesda wont alienate its core fan base but at the same time can experiment with online world building. I really don't think that if this is coming from BGS that they would completely abandon the single player aspect because thats a large part of what they are known for.

Sebario (1 month ago)
Wasn't Bethesda the company that created an ad mocking E.A, Xbox etc... about "Games as a Service" not developing single player games, and now Fallout 76 will be an online game???
Oktoroc VII (1 month ago)
Calm down man. No one said 76 is only online nor have any implications been made about what sort of service it will offer in the first place.
Sebario (1 month ago)
I never said "always" online. Jesus...

Im so excited for falloyt 76. Survival mode is always my favorite way of playing fallout and i love how 4 made every little item in the world usefull and not just useless junk like most other games.
Aiden Alias (1 month ago)
Matthew C In theory that save mechanic was a good idea because it makes you really think before you made choices or got in fights and made settlements even more useful. In practice it wasn't the best because you had to sleep and move time and then that would progress your hunger thirst and if you only slept an hour or 2 in a sleeping back or something you would just wake up fatigued. That said I appreciate Bethesda trying it out and seeing if it worked, part of the reason I love their games is because they have a feeling of experimentation that other games don't have. Playing a Bethesda game feels like when you're a little kid dumping out all your toys and making them do random things that don't make sense like making them fly, theres an imagination to it. Where I feel like other games that are often compared to bethesda games don't have that same magic. The witcher 3 is an example of that to me, I know its a good game buy it doesn't even compare to skyrim to me. Skyrim hands me these characters (or toys to go back to that analogy) and lets me be creative and mess around the witcher on the other hand felt like wheb someone tells a kid "no you gotta play with them like this" and stops you from doing whatever you want. I feel like when they make games bethesda tries to make them in unconventional ways, which can make them buggy or not the technically impressive but theres a real sense that the devs "why do we have to do it this way just because everyone else does". Thats why I'm excited for Fallout 76 because bethesda nails being unconventional and expiermenting to me

Aiden Alias. I loved New Vegas on hardcore mode, and started 4 with Survival mode but I couldn't stand not being able to save except for being near a bed.

In an interview earlier this year, Todd Howard spoke (in very vague terms) about the current development status of their various projects. From what I understood based on that interview, they have 2 major AAA games, one of which is almost finished (ie: Fallout 76) and the other one is still in pre-production. Whatever that other game is, I doubt we'll hear anything about that until 2021 at the earliest. I suspect they'll probably announce a new mobile game at E3 though.

I'm curious to see the Fallout spin on a survival/base building game. Its a really good universe for that genre. I just hope its not the same building mechanics from Fallout 4.
