I Adopted Rich People’s Habits, See How My Life Changed

127838 ratings | 3616480 views
Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. You can try adopting the habits of super rich people and see how it will help you save money. Successful people are rarely night owls; they go to bed and wake up quite early. So this was the first habit I decided to take on. By the end of the first week, I noticed that I was able to do way more before noon than I could ever do during the whole day. One more week into the experiment I started waking up completely well-rested and excited to start a new day. Self-made successes swear by exercising every day for at least 30 minutes. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I became more concentrated and calmer. If meditating helps successful people stay on top of their game, it should help me out too. Networking is like currency for successful people. A lot of successful people (like Steve Jobs, for instance) keep a super minimalistic approach to fashion, often wearing the same outfit every day. Truly smart and successful people control their expenses and don’t spend their money on useless things. Music: Operatic - Vibe Mountain https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music TIMESTAMPS Go to bed and wake up quite early 0:34 Exercise every day for at least 30 minutes 1:51 Meditate 3:01 Set goals and achieve them 3:57 Meet new people as much as you can 4:44 Read more useful books 5:34 Wear simple clothes 6:24 Be thrifty 7:10 Conclusion 8:08 SUMMARY -With will power of steel, I decided to wake up at the same time every day and come to work an hour early. It took me 3 days to get the schedule right. -The hardest part here wasn't even the gym itself, it was exercising after working all day. After just 10 days, it already became a habit. I started sleeping better and waking up easier. -Meditation turned out to be a really good way to get my head straight and renew my energy. -Even though I didn’t manage to tackle all my tasks, I was able to do more things in the first week than I did during the entire previous month. -I learned to find common ground with people from the get-go, met a lot of extraordinary individuals, and made some really good friends. -I carried a book with me at all times and read it on the way to work and back home or during lunch. As a result, by the end of the first month, I had finished my fourth book. -I no longer had to waste time every day choosing my outfit, deciding whether or not it matched or if it was trendy and whatnot. -I started out by making a list of everything that I bought every day so that I could see what I spent my money on. This system helped me save 40% of my salary in the first month and almost 60% in the second. -New habits really did completely change my life for the better. Monday Morning for sure, but instead of meditation I will pray. I do one once a day prayers, but two should do the trick. I already wake up early, at 5:30, and I start to work on-line teaching at 7:00am. But sometimes I am still teaching at 10:00pm! I meet many new people on-line as I am teaching. I exercise with a weight under the desk most of the time. I want to find simple clothes, but for women it is difficult because of the seasons. For winter I am set, but summer it is difficult. thanks for this video!

Hei! This is very interesting. Nice program for getting up early and enjoying the day. But i think not all of us are the same, meaning that maybe there are some of us built to finish the energy quickly and then go to bed, and others made to only go to bed when their energy is finished (like the cellphones:)). It might be that this program is good and feels natural for the part of the people who normaly finish their enegy quickly, but for the others, might be a little tricky. And thinking about what the video said: "Learn the secrets of success from those who built their own empires from scratch. " This is fine , but what if only some people need succed?! What if others just want satisfaction? I have a lot of friends who love succes, and speak often about it and others who only look for satisfaction by defalut. And even some that only want peace. Maybe succes is only for a group of people as early sleep is? Enjoy life people:)!!!

The richest people I know follow these even simpler steps: 1) ignore your own survivorship bias 2) despise and subsequently exploit the poor 3) become even richer

A big problem with some of these self help videos and lessons is that they really only seem to work if you have no life whatsoever. Being productive is fantastic. But literally doing nothing but being productive is going to make you go insane and cause you to stop your cycle of productivity. If you threw is some "schedule times to hang with friends" or "do these around your work schedule" or just something more applicable to your average person, then I feel like this message would be better received.

Everyone wants to be rich but most fail to realise that the economy cannot sustain a majority of the population that is wealthy... capitalism just doesn't work that way. Money (mono-eye) is simply a tool used to control the masses and maintain civil order... it has zero value in the real world. It's purpose is to gradually funnel material wealth from the middle and upper class and into the hands of the elite who own the banking system and control the Govt's and institutions of the world, essentially creating their one world order where people are wilfully subservient to them through deception. Have a close look at the US "one" dollar bill and you will see the following 3 quotes in Latin... "E Pluribus Unum" translates roughly to "One from many things" “Annuit Coeptis" means “He approves [of our] undertakings." “Novus Ordo Seclorum" means “a new order of the ages." Also notice the brick pyramid with the capstone represented by the all-seeing eye... The pyramid is our society that has been "built" according to the principles of Freemasonry (they are known as the Builder of Society) and the capstone represents their "god" who watches over us. "IN GOD WE TRUST" represents their allegiance to Lucifer, the light bearer. There is only one way to save yourself from this system of pure evil... and that is to live your life within the body of Christ. When you're ready for more, hit reply.

I'm sorry, his notion of successful people sounds like those really pretentious people who sip lattes and talk about their 401ks. I don't think success is measured by societal pressures to perform like a robotic suit. Find out who you are and the rest will fall into place.

This is like a workforce development film that they make people watch when they're in the program because they got laid off. It tells you nothing more than to gain some self discipline. The rich and successful don't have to navigate disaster while their funds dry up, their car is being repossessed, the utilities are getting shut off, and they're in danger of becoming homeless. They can retreat and reformulate without the only threat that matters. I tried to do the real things that rich and successful people do and I ended up going to prison for it. That's the truth of it. There is no bright side.

People think success come with luck, these habits are not to be successful directly But to be productive which will later help in life
Tech Guy17 (3 days ago)
Generally these tips can are very helpful some of which I incorporate myself like waking up any time between 4:45 and 6:00am every day including weekends with a vibrating fitness Tracker so I don't wake up my Roommate, tracking my expenses ,and working out. However you don't need to follow all of these things to the letter ,all of us have different lifestyle and situations which will require changing or ommiting things. For instance if I work a physically exhausting job like construction Or wearhouse work. There will be no need for me to go to the gym afterwards but just rest. Overall I think everyone could benefit to some or all of these tips with some tweaking. But one pice of universal advice everyone can implement and succeed at is constant introspection and self improvement which seems to be the philosophy of the video

The one habit I would like to get into would be getting more sleep. It would be the most important one since I wake up tired everyday. Every morning feels like it should be bed time. Being a night owl growing up didn't give me good habits. That would be a great start. With the power of *S* *T* *E* *E* *L*

I did start exercising bck in March.. I’ve lost 45 pounds & am almost to my goal weight.. it is insane how much something as simple as exercise & healthy food choices can seriously change your life! Also totally agree with waking up earlier.. I get everything done now whereas before it felt like I didn’t ever have enough time. I think the idea is to just develop consistency, be practical in clothing & lifestyle choices, do not buy something if you REALLY don’t want it, and just be the best version of yourself! Great tips & video! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I need to get on a sleep schedule, so hard to do though. I need a schedule though. I need to go to the gym too lol I have a membership mostly for the pool & I quit going a few months ago cuz of family issues & physical issues, Then I got in a habit of not going. I'm not a ppl person for many reasons, & 1 big reason is social anxiety. I'm better at social media. I'm not a book reading type of person, & never been. 1 big reason is learning disabilities. I don't spend alot of money on clothes, but I love hoodies & have Alot, but most of my good hoodies were gifts, & the rest were from Goodwill or were on sale. I usually wear baggy sweatpants alot of the time. I spend alot of time on my phone, listening to music, YouTube, social media, art, photography, & video games.
